HVAC Upgrade
Location: Citra, Florida
Provided Construction Management services to construct a new central chilled water plant. Included were the demolition and removal of old and to be abandoned systems. Relocation of all air distribution inside the building using air handling units and VAVs with new ductwork throughout. Mechanical rooms were created. Existing air-cooled RTUs will be replaced with chilled water RTUs with the piping running on the outside of the building. The entire system will be connected through digital controls to the district’s energy management system. Included were the necessary electrical upgrades for the new equipment as well as any chases. Sitework with utilities, fencing, and concrete is also required.
